The Guardians are a small group of dragons under princess Ember's command.
Before the war, the guardians were independent and active in temples separates across the world. Guardians are a band of dragons, of whom each of them is a master of an element. They have always been devided in groups of 4. Each group guarding a temple. Their job was to protect the dragon eggs that were brought in by mothers, no matter the cost.
However, when the war restarted, the guardians were forced under Ember's command. The 3 original guardians - Terrador, Cyril and Volteer - disappeared. The new guardians, who still lacked training, were turned into an object of authority for Ember.
